This is the first value study that I’ve done of a figure (as opposed to a face / upper torso). I have to admit that I was pretty worried when I started, but I think everything came together in the end. I’ll definitely need to do more of these if I’m to be an artist worth his salt.
By the way, I just did a cursory search for what “worth my salt” means, and it seems to be a reference as to how soldiers used to paid. Can someone confirm this?
And also, Farscape is a bizarre but fun space opera worth checking out. It’s one of the most recent Jim Henson Company shows that comes to mind. It’s available from the Blockbuster mail rental service, and it wouldn’t surprise me if Netflix had it too.
